  Anniversary- Carver, Steven and Maxine Carver 50th Wedding Anniversary Steven and Maxine (Tomasek) Carver celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a small gathering in Maple Hill. They were united in marriage on June 29, 1968, at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri. Maxine began teaching business classes at St. Marys High School in August 1967. She retired from there in May 2001. Steve served in the U.S. Army until January 1969. He then worked at the Goodyear Tire Company until retiring in November 2000. They are the parents of David and Marc, and the grandparents of Tyler, Garrett, Jacob, and Isaac.
