Boyles-Stum Couple Wed in Late May Ceremony

A seven o’clock candlelight service was the setting for the Saturday, May 22, 1982, wedding of Lisa Boyles and Charles Stum. The Reverend Larry Buss heard the exchange of vows and officiated the double-ring ceremony in the Rossville United Methodist Church.

Parents of the couple are Leonard and Judy Boyles, and Wilbur and Sally Stum, all of Rossville.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and the couple was given in marriage by both sets of parents.

[missing portion] was held in the church basement. In the evening, the groom’s parents hosted a party for the couple.

The couple took a wedding trip to Colorado and are now at home in Rossville.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Stum are graduates of Rossville High School. Mrs. Stum is a student at Washburn University and Mr. Stum is employed at Jeffrey Energy Center.
