The marriage of LuAnne Conaway to Rodney M. Reser was solemnized at 2 p.m. Feb. 24 in Bethel Community Church with the Rev. Charles Fox officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Conaway and Mr. Reser is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melford Reser, Silver Lake.
Attendants for the bride were Mrs. Jeffrey Overmyer, Rossville, and Susan Deiter, Silver Lake. Mr. Reser’s attendants were Matt Rakestraw, Topeka, and Ira Rakestraw, Silver Lake.
Mrs. Reser attended Kansas State University and is employed by Flowers, Etc. Mr. Reser attended Washburn University and is employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.
They are living in Silver Lake.

Saturday, February 24, 1979, Lu Anne Conaway and Rodney Reser were married by the Reverend Charles Fox at the Bethel Community Church in rural Topeka, in a 2 p.m. ceremony.
LuAnne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Conaway, Topeka. Rodney is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melford Reser, Silver Lake.
Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Jeff Overmyer, Rossville. Miss Susan Deiter, Silver Lake, was her bridesmaid. Miss. Pat Woods, Topeka, lit the candles. Jenny Conaway, cousin of the bode, was flower girl.
The groom's attendants were Matt Rakestraw, best man; and Ira Rakestraw, groomsman. Ushers were Dan Conaway, brother of the bride, and Doug Wyatt. Brian Haynes, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
Lu Anne is employed by Flowers, Etc. in Topeka; Rod works at Goodyear. The couple is living in Silver Lake.
