| Marriage- Miller, Beverly-Cooksey, Bob Miller-Cooksey Vows Exchanged
Beverly Miller and Bob Cooksey were united in marriage in the Delia Presbyterian Church Friday, November 3, at 8 p.m. Rev. Don Sears officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Miller of Delia. Mr. Cooksey's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Oris Cooksey of Olathe.
Mrs. Ira Williams furnished the wedding music. Tapers were lighted by Sandra Miller, sister of the bride, and Debra Miller, a cousin.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of lace over bridal satin. Her shoulder length veil was attached to a ring of bridal satin. She carried a cascade arrangement of red roses and stephanotis.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Walt Lowe, Olathe. Her dress was of hot pink, and flowers of pink glamelias.
Mr. Cooksey’s best man was
Walt Lowe, Olathe. Ushers were Victor Miller, brother of the bride, and Rickey Miller, a cousin, of Willard.
Mrs. Pat Spears, Olathe, sister of the groom, was at the guest book. Nancy Miller, sister of the bride, distributed rice bags.
A reception at the church followed the ceremony. Assisting were Mrs. Robert Reedy, Topeka, Mrs. DeVere Miller, Willard, and Mrs. Lloyd Miller, aunts of the bride.
The couple is at home in Sunflower.
