| Marriage- Scott, Marsha-DeDonder, Francis Scott-DeDonder
The marriage of Marsha Dianne Scott to Francis DeDonder was solemnized at 10 a.m. Nov. 27 in Holy Name Catholic Church. The Rev. George Burak officiated, and servers at the mass were Keith Scott and Bobby DeDonder, brothers of the couple.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Philip DeDonder, St. Marys, and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Scott.
The bride's gown of Chantilly lace was fashioned with basque bodice, scalloped sabrina neckline and bridal point sleeves. The bouffant overskirt was picked up in front to reveal tiers of lace. A panel of tiered lace formed the back of the skirt and cascaded into a chapel train. Her waist-length veil, edged with Chantilly lace, was held by a lace crown trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses.
Attending the bride were: Mary Ann DeDonder, St. Marys, sister of the bridegroom; Mary Broxterman, Frankfort; Joyce Neff, Mrs. Lester Steinlage and Sheryl Scott, sister of the bride.
Larry Lenherr, St. Marys, was best man and groomsmen were Bob Kolde, St. Marys, and brothers of the couple, Randy Scott and Joe DeDonder. Ushers were Ronald Pauly and Billy DeDonder, brother of the bridegroom, both of St. Marys.
A dinner and reception at Crestview shelter house followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Denver, Colo., the couple is at home in St. Marys.
Mrs. DeDonder was graduated from Rossville High School and is employed as a nursing assistant at VA Hospital. Mr. DeDonder, a graduate of St. Marys High School, is employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.
