| Anniversary- Lambotte, Gus and Malvina Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lambotte, and children Velma, Mabel and John attended the Golden wedding’ anniversary of Mrs. Lambotte's mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Gus J. Lambotte, of Junction City, held at Solomon, last Friday, May 12. About sixty relatives and friends gathered at the youngest son’s home to celebrate the event. Dinner was served at noon in cafeteria style. A large golden and white decorated cake and two decorated angel food cakes formed the centerpiece of the table. Many lovely gifts were re¬ceived, among them a radio, presented by the seven children. Mr. and Mrs. Lambotte have seven children, twenty-seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, all of whom are living. All were present excepting one son of Kanapolis, Kansas, and one grand daughter and great grandchildren of Omaha, Neb.
The Milford radio station dedicated several musical numbers to Mr. and Mrs. Lambotte, and extended congratulations to the couple during its afternoon program.
