    Kensing-Diehl Vows Exchanged in Baptist Church

    Rebecca Anne Kensing became the bride of Keith Craig Diehl at a 3 p.m. ceremony Saturday, September 25, 1976, at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Topeka. The bride’s uncle, the Rev. Dale McCain, Smith Center, officiated.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Lee W. Kensing and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Diehl, both of Topeka.

    Providing the music was Mrs. Irene Campbell, organist, and Randy Kensing, brother of the bride, who sang.

    The bride’s dress was made of candlelight polyester crepe with matching lace. Her cascade bouquet consisted of multicolored daisies, miniature carnations and baby’s breath.

    Mrs. Diehl was attended by Donnita Weiler, Silver Lake, who was attired in blue polyester crepe. Her bouquet consisted of multicolored daisies, miniature carnations and baby’s breath. Flower girl was Jodi Diehl, sister of the groom. Her dress and bouquet were similar to those of the bridesmaid.

    The groom was attended by Jack Bird, Rossville. Bill Heslet and Harry Kibbe served as ushers.

    Mrs. Denise Thomas was in charge of the
    guest book.

    The mother of the bride was dressed in mint green. The groom’s mother was dressed in blue. Both wore corsages of white daisies and miniature carnations.

    A reception was held in the Crestview Shelterhouse. Serving were Jeanette McRoberts, Silver Lake, and Mrs. Loli Diehl, Rossville.

    Mrs. Diehl is a graduate of Silver Lake High School. Mr. Diehl was graduated from Rossville High School. He is employed by Foresman Building and Remodeling Co., in St. Marys.

    After a short trip to Branson, Mo., the couple is at home in Silver Lake.
