| Obituary- Startup, William W.H. Startup Dead.
W.H. Startup, an old resident of this city, died at his home on Spruce street last Friday morning. For several weeks before taking to his bed he complained of ill-health which finally terminated in typhoid fever and his weakened vitality was unable to cope with the disease.
Mr. Startup came to Kansas when a young man from Mount Vernon, Ohio, his birth place. At the time of his death he was 58 years old. He leaves a wife and three children, May, Nettie and Cecil.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church Saturday at 10 o'clock a.m., conducted by the Rev. H.L. Nelson. Burial took place in the city cemetery. |
