Mr. and Mrs. Joe Marney announce the marriage of their daughter Nadine, to Mr. Lester Berry, which occurred in Topeka, last Friday.
Mrs. Berry has grown to womanhood in Rossville and graduated from high school with the 1933 class. Mr. Berry is the youngest son of Mr. Lon Berry and has lived in this community several years. He is a fine young man. Mr. and Mrs. Berry will make their home in Topeka for the present. |

Nadine V. Berry, 85, Topeka, died Friday,
Nov. 17, 2000, at her home,
Mrs. Berry was a homemaker.
She was born Jan. 4, 1915, in Rossville, the daughter of Joseph O. and Rose M. Ropp Marney.
She married Lester L. Berry on Sept. 22, 1933, in Topeka. He died May 9, 1990. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Jerry Joseph Berry, in 1934, and by a son, Ronald L. Berry, on Oct. 31, 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Chapman, Topeka; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Berry will lie in state from 2 to 8:30 p.m. today at Parker-Price Mortuary.
