Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell were married at Alma on June 23. Hi06, and have lived most of their married site in the Maple Hill and Rossville communities. Mr. Mitchell is a retired farmer. The dinner was given at the home of Mrs. Roxie Nadeau. Mitchell, 88, Rossville, who died this morning in a Topeka hospital. He was born Feb. 6, 1884, in Fairbury, Neb., and had lived in Rossville for the past 45 years. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Ethel Mitchell, died March 23, 1968. Survivors include six. daughters, Mrs. Velda O’Donnell, Mrs. Sylvia Britt, Mrs. Juanita Polson and Mrs. Elvira Olejnik, all of Rossville, Mrs. Roxie Banta, Delia and Mrs. Ruby Adams, Portland, Ore.; two sons, Theodore Mitchell, Rossville, and Glenn Mitchell, Circleville; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Robinson, in California, Mrs. Virginia Rolling, Midway, Ark., and Mrs. Margaret Vilander, 2324 Moundview; two brothers, Robert Mitchell, Cottonwood Falls, and Everett Mitchell, Silver Lake; 26 grandchildren, and 35 greatgrandchildren.
