The dinner was given at the home of Mrs. Roxie Nadeau.   Obituary- Mitchell, Ethel Funeral services were held Tuesday at Rossville Methodist Church for Mrs. Ethel Mitchell who died about three hours after arrival at Stormont Vail Hospital of a heart ailment. She had been in poor health several years. She was born March 6, 1890 near Willard, Kans. She had lived in Rossville Community about 40 years. Survivors include her husband George W. Mitchell at home, two sons Glen Mitchell. Circleville, Kans., Theodore Mitchell, Rossville, six daughters Mrs. Velda O’Donnell, Mrs. Ivan Britt, Mrs. Roxie Banta and Mrs. Elvara Olejnik of Rossville, Mrs. Jaunita Polson, Holton, Kans., and Mrs. Ruby Adams, Portland Oregon, one sister Mrs. Maude Howe, Kans. City, Kans., two brothers, Jess Lister Topeka, and Versie Lister, Denver, Colo. 26 Grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. George Mitchell celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary June 26, 1966. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Howe of Kansas City, Kans., and Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Mitchell of Cottonwood Falls, Kans., attended the funeral of Mrs. Ethel Mitchell Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Versie Lister of Denver, Colorado, left Thursday for their home after attending the funeral of his sister Mrs. Ethel Mitchell.
