Mr. and Mrs. Walter Patton announce the marriage of their daughter, Juanita, to Mr. Ralph Foresman, of Wamego, son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Foresman.
The marriage took place at the Immaculate Conception church at St. Marys, at 6 a. m., Saturday, August 24. The Rev. Father O’Connor read the service.
The bride was lovely in her wedding dress of French violet ruff silk crepe with white accessories. Miss Hope Patton, sister of the bride was maid of honor. She wore a dress of orchid organdy with white accessories.
Mr. Foresman was attended by Mr. Tom Cullevan of Wamego.
Mr. and Mrs. Foreman will be at home to their friends on a farm east of Wamego.
Mrs. Foresman was born in Rossville. She completed her grade and high school education here graduating with the class of 1930. She was also a student nurse at St. Francis hospital, Topeka, for a time. She has a host of friends who wish her a long and happy married life.
Mr. Foresman attended the Wamego high school and is now engaged in farming.

| Obituary- Foresman, Walter Walter "Nawgishek" E. Foresman
Walter "Nawgishek" E. Foresman, 84, of Topeka, passed away on April 27, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
He was born on May 19, 1936 to Ralph and Juanita (Patton) Foresman in Rossville, Kansas.
Walter graduated from Wamego High School in 1954 and went straight to work. Over the course of his life he had many jobs but he enjoyed working at Roberson Lumber as a Salesman, where he later retired.
On June 20, 1986, Walter married Delilia Dutt in Topeka.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Meriden, Kansas.
Walter was a member of the Citizen Pottawatomie Nation of Shawnee, Oklahoma and also the Knights of Columbus Council number 7426 for 35 years, where he served as a Knight of the 3rd Degree. He was an avid antique shopper with his wife. He loved to hunt and fish, and was a great outdoorsman. Walter also enjoyed to go mushroom hunting. He was so excited about the upcoming mushroom season. Walter loved to collect John Deere Tractors. He loved to spend time with his family and spoiling everyone, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Walter is survived by loving Wife, Delilia; Children, Mike (Sharon) Foresman, DeAnna (Herb) Lambert, Linda (Willie) Erikson, William Foresman, Jeffery (Karen) Fortenberry; Brother, Gene (Janet) Foresman and Sister, Sheila (Ken) Walsh; 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his Son, Robert Foresman; both of his parents; two daughter-in-laws, Pamela Foresman and Marvalie Foresman.
Rosary was prayed at 3:00 pm at Parker Price Funeral Home on Sunday, May 2, 2021 followed by a visitation where the family will greet friends until 5:30 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, May 3, 2021 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Meriden, Kansas at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
