He was born August 13, 1953 at Rossville, the son of Ted and Nora Karnowski Mitchell. Survivors include his wife of many years, Pam Mitchell, Ft. Payne, AL; a brother, Daryl (Shirley) Mitchell, Rossville; two sisters, Diana (Harry) McGee, Kansas City, and Debbie (Duke) Kisner, Silver Lake; several nieces and nephews. Honoring Darwin’s wishes he was cremated. A graveside service will be at a later date.
