Mrs. Carrie Lavern Beeler, 53, of 2116 Huntoon died Wednesday at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native j of Valley Falls and had been a Topeka resident most of her life.
Mrs. Beeler was a Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. payroll department employee and a member of the First Christian church and the Stereotypers and Electro¬typers auxiliary No. 96. She was active in Girl Scout work before i her last illness.
Surviving are her husband, Dwight Beeler, and a daughter, Miss Berniece Kay Beeler, both of the home and another daugh¬ter, Mrs. Beverly Jo Longshore of 1513 Western.
Services will be announced by the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary. Burial will be in the Mount Hope cemetery.
She also leaves two aunts, Mrs. Carrie Post of Valley Falls and Mrs. A. G. Sturgeon of Kansas City, Mo., and an uncle, E. G Beard of Silver Lake.
