| Obituary- Redmon, Carl 1 Carl E. Redmon
Carl E. Redmon, 61, Wichita, formerly of Delia, died Saturday, October 25,1997, at a Wichita hospital.
He was born October 9, 1936, on a farm north of Delia, the son of Homer and Mary Carmichael Redmon.
Mr. Redmon was a graduate of Mayetta High School in 1954, and moved to Wichita in 1964 after serving a term in the U.S. Navy. Carl was an aviation electrician for Lear Jet in Wichita for 28 years. He spent a couple of years with Boeing in the late 1980s, where he helped with the construction of “Air Force I.”
Mr. Redmon is survived by his mother, Mary Redmon, Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Ann Lou Lahey, Anderson, Calif., Mary Ann Bryant and Monica Olson, both of Topeka; seven brothers, Theron Redmon, Chicago, Ill., Gene Redmon and Lee Redmon, both of Kansas City, Mo., Billy Redmon, Valley Falls, Edward and Lloyd Redmon, both of Topeka, and Don Redmon, Rossville. He was pre¬ceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ballard, and a brother, John Redmon.
Visitation was from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. His service was at 10:00 Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment was in the Delia Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University and sent in care of the Mercer Funeral Home, 4th and Montana, Holton 66436.

HOLTON — Carl E. Redmon, 61, of Wichita, formerly of Delia, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 1997, at a Wichita hospital.
Mr. Redmon served in the United States
Navy.
He was an aviation electrician for Learjet in Wichita for 28 years. He also worked for a couple of years for Boeing in the late 1980s, where he helped with the construction of Air Force One.
