Paul worked as an auto mechanic and Genevieve handled all the accounting and record keeping for the business and customers. He recently retired after 45 years of service to the Delia community. She is still employed as treasurer of the Delia City Council. The Matyak's have nine grandchildren.

The couple have nine grandchildren. Paul Frank Matyak and Genevieve Clare Grace were married July 26, 1945, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. Mr. Matyak, who owned and operated Matyak’s Garage in Delia, retired after 45 years of service. Mrs. Matyak was bookkeeper for Matyak’s Garage for approximately 45 years and was Delia city treasurer or 19 years.
