Mrs. Conaway is a homemaker. They have farmed in the Bethel community northwest of Topeka. They request no gifts.
  		Anniversary- Conaway, Lee and Betty 2 Lee and Betty Conaway Lee and Betty Conaway will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on July 27th at Bethel Community Church Fellowship Hall, N.W. Landon & 70th St., Topeka, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 pm. Their children are Nancy J. Overmyer, Daniel & Reene Conaway, Lu Anne & Rod Reser. The Conaways have seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. After 30 years, Lee retired from Goodyear. Betty helped on their farm. They raise Hereford cattle. Betty was the Kansas Hereford Women’s president for five years and also volunteered for Grove 4-H. Friends are invited to attend the celebration. The couple requests no gifts.

LuAnne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Conaway, Topeka. Rodney is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melford Reser, Silver Lake. Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Jeff Overmyer, Rossville. Miss Susan Deiter, Silver Lake, was her bridesmaid. Miss. Pat Woods, Topeka, lit the candles. Jenny Conaway, cousin of the bode, was flower girl. The groom's attendants were Matt Rakestraw, best man; and Ira Rakestraw, groomsman. Ushers were Dan Conaway, brother of the bride, and Doug Wyatt. Brian Haynes, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer. Lu Anne is employed by Flowers, Etc. in Topeka; Rod works at Goodyear. The couple is living in Silver Lake.
