Sue Viergever, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Viergever, Rossville, became the bride of John H. Flerlage, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Flerlage, St. Marys, at 7:39 p.m. Sept. 4 in the Rossville Christian Church.

Officiating at the double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Ben Duerfeldt, Manhattan. Pianist was Mrs. Joe Campbell, Rossville, and soloist was Hudson, Topeka.

THE BRIDE, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of satin brocade featuring a fitted bodice, bridal point sleeves and a round neckline. The bell-shaped skirt descended into a chapel train.

Her waist-length veil fell from a pill box of sata-peau encircled with reembroidered Alencon lace beaded with seed pearls and iridescent sequins. She carried a cascade of gold and bronze chrysanthemums.

Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Mrs. Warren Graves, Rossville. Her street- length dress of gold satin brocade was fashioned with a fitted bodice, scoop neckline and elbow-length sleeves. The controlled skirt had inverted pleats and a bow which accented the back. She wore a pill box headdress of gold satin with a circular maline veil and carried a cascade of gold and bronze chrysanthemums on a Bible.
MELINDA VIERGEVER, Wakita, Okla., was flower girl. She wore a gold satin princess style dress.

Best man was James Peak, Topeka, and ushers were Gerald Mason and Leroy Carrell, both of Rossville.
