| Obituary- Cowger, Oscar Oscar R. Cowger
HOLTON — Oscar Robert Cowger, 87, Soldier, died Mon¬day at a rest home at Holton.
He was born Aug. 5, 1882 at Troy. He lived in the Delia community for many years and moved to Soldier 10 years ago. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Delia Presbyterian Church. He mar¬ried Effie Chaney. She died in 1936.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Wykert, Soldier; three sons, Jesse and Arch Cowger, both of Soldier, and Spencer Cowger, Twin Falls, Idaho; one nephew, Leroy Mayo, Twin Falls, whom he raised; and one brother, Rufus Cowger, Atchison.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial will be in Olive Hill Cemetery, Holton.
