| Obituary- Hook, Mina 1 Mina Hook
Mrs. Mina A. Hook, after a long illness, passed away at her home in Rossville, Thursday evening, Nov. 18, at the age of 74 years and 5 months.
She was born at Tipton, Mo., in 1863, and moved with her parents, the late Dr. and Mrs. A.G. McGill, to Silver Lake, Kansas, in 1879, making her home in Shawnee county since.
Surviving her are her husband, W.V. Hook; two sons, Joe Neiswender, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Thurlow Neiswender of Cicero, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. C.L. Dolman of Topeka, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Rossville Presbyterian church, conducted by the pastor, Dr. H.L. Nelson, who was assisted by the Rev. James W. Reed and Rev. Willis Schnelle.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Fannie Reser, Mrs. Margaret Witter, Miss Edith Higginbotham, and Mrs. Peter Navarre, with Mrs. Mabel Eversole piano accompanist.
The pallbearers were Messrs. Marvin Davis, Gus Kassebaum, C.W. Vorhies, David Davis, Albert Reser, and J.F. Zook. Burial was in the Silver Lake cemetery.

Hook, Mrs. Alice Neiswender, Raymond Neiswender and A.J. Thomas, all of Silver Lake.
