Russell Booth and Elsie Shelinbarger were married May 8, 1938, at Arvonia. They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Russell Booth, 95, Osage City, died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at his home in Osage City.
He was born October 3, 1907, in Arvonia, the son of Joseph Colter and Alice Zimmerman Booth. He graduated from Lebo High School in 1926.
Mr. Booth was a farmer and stockman at Arvonia until moving to Osage City in 1965.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Lions Club, both in Osage City. He also was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 152 AF&AM and the Order of the Eastern Star at Lebo.
On May 8, 1938, he married Elsie Marie Shelinbarger in Arvonia. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Milton R. Booth, Emporia, and James C. Booth, Delia; six grandŽchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
His service was at 10 a.m. SaturŽday at the United Methodist Church in Osage City. Burial was in the ArŽvonia Cemetery. Relatives and friends met from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Crable VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Osage City Senior CenŽter or the United Methodist Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
