| Anniversary- Schraeder, James and Hester Golden Anniversary Celebration for Schraeder Couple
James and Hester Schraeder, Topeka, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, January 15, 1995, with a reception in Assumption Catholic Church Hall in Topeka.
The reception was hosted by their nephew and his wife, James and Rosemary Schraeder, Overland Park. They were assisted by their children.
James Schraeder and Hester Cameron were married January 20,1945, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Kansas City, KS. Both are retired from Government Service.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Schraeder were graduated from Rossville High School in the class of 1937.

Hester H. Schraeder, 98, Topeka, passed away
Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
Hester was born on October 18,1918, in Kansas City MO. She was reared by Jenny Allen and lived in Willard, with her three brothers and her sister. Hester graduated from Rossville High School in 1937. She worked for the U.S. Department of Transportation, retiring after 30 years of service. She married James Schraeder on January 20,1945. He preceded her in death on January 11,2002. Survivors include her nephews and nieces, Jim Schraeder (Rosie),
Lenexa, Hedy Lack (Joe dec.), Palm Harbor FL, Pat Renyer (Dave), Topeka and Ron Schraeder (Jan), Wichita.
Hester was also preceded in death by her brothers,
Heber, Hamer and Herman and her sister, Helen.
Family will greet friends from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on
Saturday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614, where the Daughters of Isabella will lead a rosary at 10:15 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church or Community Health Ministry of Wamego, sent in care of the funeral home.
