  Obituary- Brown, Patrick Pat Brown killed in Wreck Patrick Brown, the well known stockman living between Delia and Emmett was kill in a wreck on the Union Pacific near Kansas City early Tuesday morning. Mr. Brown was riding in the caboose of a Union Pacific stock train going into Kansas City. The train was running at a very low rate of speed and signals were placed on the track warning trains following. A double header Rock Island stock train disregarded the signal and crashed into the caboose of the Union Pacific. There were about fifteen stockmen in the caboose. Most of them jumped to safety before the collision. Several were severely injured.
