| Obituary- Young, Winford Winford A. Young, 82, formerly of 621 Oakley, died Monday, Oct. 8, at a Topeka nursing home.
Mr. Young was a farmer and dairyman many years. He was janitor at Wamego High School in Wamego 10 years before he retired in 1968.
He was born Dec. 19, 1901, at Rossville, the son of Elmer Otis and Minnie Strange Young. He spent most of his life in Topeka.
He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF & AM.
He married Audria M. Kaul April 8, 1928, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Marvin Young, Las Vegas, Nev., and Earl Young, Torrance, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Day, Topanga, Calif., and Mrs. Patti Goehring, Topeka; eight grandchilden and a great-grandchild.
