 | Obituary- Baker, Russell Baker Child's Burns Proved Fatal
Russell Baker, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baker died this morning at 1:30, his death being the result of falling in a tub of scalding hot water, Saturday, January 19. The child has suffered terribly since the accident and only under the influence of quieting medicine had he had any moments of rest. The loss of so much skin had made the child's case almost hopeless from the first, but the child's parents have worked night and day trying to relieve the little fellow's sufferings.
The funeral arrangements have not been made definitely, because of two deaths from meningitis at St. Marys, and O. Verschelden, the undertaker in charge, was not certain he could be here tomorrow. The funeral service will be held at the Presbyterian church.
