Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary for Mrs. Nellie M. Lillard, 84, who was dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital early Saturday after she was stricken at her home in Rossville. She apparently had a heart attack.
She was born Oct. 8, 1892, at Rossville and spent her life in the Rossville community. She was a member of the auxiliary of the American Legion at Rossville.
Her husband, Rufus Lillard, died in 1947.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Lillard and Glendon Lillard, both at Rossville; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Graves and Mrs. Mary Woods, both at Rossville, and Mrs. Lucille Bagby, Huntington Beach, Calif.; a brother, John Martin, Rossville; two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Lillard and Mrs. Faye Harder, both at Rossville; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.

ROSSVILLE - Mrs. Nellie M. Lillard, 84, Rossville, died early today at a Topeka hospital following a short illness.
She was born Oct. 8, 1892, in Rossville, where she spent most of her life She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary at Rossville.
She was married to Rufus Lillard. He preceded her in death in 1947.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Lillard, and Glendon Lillard, both of Rossville; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Graves, and Mrs. Mary Woods, both of Rossville, and Mrs. Lucille Bagby, Huntington Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Lillard, and Mrs. Faye Harder, both of Rossville; two brothers, John Martin, Rossville; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services are pending at Parker Mortuary. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery here.
