| Obituary- Myers, Jesse Jesse Myers
Jesse Smith Myers, aged 21, died Monday at Hillcrest sanitarium, Topeka. He had been taken there about ten days before his death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Rossville Methodist church, conducted by Rev. E.R. Foiles and the body interred in Rossville cemetery.
Jesse had never been robust in health. He was the foster son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Myers, living north of Rossville who took him to raise about twelve years ago when he was nine years old. He was a good boy and his death is felt very keenly by his foster parents, who did everything possible to prolong his life.
His mother is a Mrs. John Sowers, living at Abilene. Beside the mother Jesse is survived by a half sister, Blanche Ratliff and a half brother Robt. Ratliff, the former living at Abilene and the latter in Kansas City.
