| Obituary- Cohen, Rosalie ROSALIE COHEN
Mrs. Rosalie Cohen, aged 78 years, died in the State hospital at Topeka Wednesday, November 19,1924, where she had been an inmate for nearly thirty years. The funeral was held today at 2 o’clock from the Penwell chapel in Topeka conducted under the Jewish rites by a Kansas City Rabbi.
She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Jess Carpenter, of Casper Wyoming, Mrs. E. Martin, of Detroit, Mich., and Miss Frances Frishman of St. Louis, Mo.; and three sons Harry Cohen, Kansas City, Ben Cohen, Topeka and Joe Frishman, San Bernardino, Calif.
The deceased lady was one of the pioneer residents of Rossville, living in this community with her husband before the city was incorporated. Mr. Cohen was an early day merchant of Rossville. The family resided at that time in the residence on the corner of Pearl and North Perry streets now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Dave Yocum.
Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Hartzell were in Topeka today and attended the funeral service for the late Mrs. Rosalie Cohen in the Penwell Chapel.
