| Obituary- Freeman, Jesse 1 Death Claims J.M Freeman
J.M. Freeman died at 6:30 Tuesday morning after an illness of about two months. His health had been declining for about two years. His death was due to mitial regurgitation with contributory ailments.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Presbyterian church conducted by Rev. Hart. Interment was made in Rossville cemetery. There Freeman family have resided here about three years, coming here from Minneapolis, Kansas.
Mr. Freeman was born in Caldwell county, North Carolina, April 4, 1851, and was 60 years, 7 months and 28 days old. He was united in marriage to Martha Jane Boss, at Bennington, Kans. June 4, 1874. The family had lived in various points in Kansas. While at Minneapolis, he united with the First Presbyterian church and continued in that faith to the end. His loss is mourned by his widow, five sons and three daughters.
