| Obituary- Zlatnik, Antonin Antonin G. A. Zlatnik was born Nov. 7, 1856 probably in Bela, Bohemia.
He died at Delia, Kans., Oct. 15, 1902 at 45 years of age. Very little of his early life was known. He took his family and left his native homeland to avoid religious persecution as well as military conscription in the Austria-Hungarian armies, moving first to the Volhynia area under the control of the Russian Tsar and later to America in Nov. 1891. It was also thought that he had a brother, Jan who may have immigrated to the United States. His death left his widow who did not speak the language of the country in which she lived as well as seven minor children to survive him.
