| Obituary- Martin, Henry Henry M. Martin
Henry Miller Martin, 51, who was born and reared in this community, died Friday morning in a Topeka hospital following a few weeks’ illness. “Heinie” was a hard working man and reared a family of ten children. His passing was a shock not only to his family but to his many friends in the community.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9 o’clock in St. Stanislaus Catholic church at Rossville, and burial was in Rossville cemetery.
Pall bearers were, Joe Navarre, Clyde Rogers, William Hesse, Charly Berkey, Kermit Patton and Warren Pendleton.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Martin, of the home; four sons, Ralph Martin, Paul Martin, Reid Martin and Charles Martin, all of Rossville; six daughters, Miss Edna Martin, Miss Betty Martin, Miss Gladys Martin, and Miss Katherine Martin all of the home; Mrs. Olive Baird, Rossville and Mrs. Doris Magee of Topeka, his mother, Mrs. Mary Martin, Rossville; six sisters, Mrs. N. Keener, Clay Center, Kan.; Mrs. __ Stetler, Hutchinson, Kan.; Mrs. R.A. Lillard, Mrs. Dolly Lillard, Mrs. J.N. Bush all of Rossville; Mrs. Bruce Harder, Topeka; one brother, John Martin, Rossville and __ grandchildren.
