Mr. and Mrs. Allen Ent, Route 8, Topeka, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, at the Rossville Senior Citizen Center.
Hosting the occasion will be their children: Bill and Linda Ent, Lincoln, Nebr.; Ann and Bob Macha, Delia; Mary and Ralph Ciaravino, LaMesa, Calif.
Allen Ent and Thelma Bell were married March 22, 1941, in Eskridge. Mr. Ent is a retired farmhand. The couple has seven grandchildren.

Florence Baker and Allen Ent exchanged marriage vows Sunday, July 7, 1996, at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Officiating the 2 p.m. service was the Rev. Ken Rogers.
Attending the bride was her daughter, Laura Gray, Newark, Calif. The groom’s attendant was his son, William Ent, Lincoln, Neb.
The couple is retired, and lives in Willard.

Allen George Ent, 87, Topeka, died Friday, December 27, 2002, at a Topeka hospital.
He was born June 19, 1915, in Hoyt, the son of Elmer K. and Elizabeth Guffey Ent. He was raised in the Hoyt area. His working years were spent as a farm hand in the Rossville area. He was involved in the Rossville Senior Citizen Center. He attended Rossville United Methodist Church.
On Marya 22, 1941, he married Thelma Marie Bell in Eskridge. She died January 30, 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna Macha, Delia, and Mary Roach, Hollywood, CA; one son, William Ent, Lincoln, NE; two sisters, Irene Tibbs, Topeka, and Thelma Cummings, Hoyt; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
His service was at 10 a.m. Monday at Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial was in Delia Cemetery. Family visitation was held from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Senior Citizen Center, 429 Pearl, Rossville, KS 66533.
Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka, was in charge of arrangements.
