  Obituary- Estes, Cynthia Mrs. Jerry Estes Mrs. Jerry Estes, 79, of Maple Hill passed away at her home near there, Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 following a two weeks illness. Mrs. Estes had lived alone on her farm for some time, and two weeks ago she fell while up in the night, and fractured her limb, and it was several hours later before she was found. She failed to respond to treatment due to failing health and gradually grew worse. She is survived by two children, a daughter, Mrs. Wm. Hawks, Maple Hill; one son, Ross, of Topeka; and one grandson, Omar Letts of Maple Hill. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, from the Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys and burial in Rossville cemetery.
