| Obituary- Feaker, Fred Fred Feaker
Fred J. Feaker, 84, 3224 W. 29th, died Saturday in a Topeka rest home where he had been about a year. He had been admitted to a Topeka hospital July 10, 1973, after he suffered a severe back injury in a fall.
He was born Nov. 10, 1890, at Hoyt and lived in Topeka since 1922. He formerly lived at 1131N. Van Buren.
He was a construction superintendent for the Rinner Construction Co. before he retired in 1963. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and Local No. 1445 of the Carpenters Union and was a 50-year member of Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM.
He was married to Nellie E. Wells April 21, 1915, at Delia. She died May 14, 1974.
Survivors include three sons, Fred E. Feaker, 2810 Prairie Road, Richard Feaker, 627 Medford, and Darrell Feaker, Barrington, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Lavenna Newell, 2334 Maryland; a sister, Mrs. Ella Seal, Pueblo, Colo.;, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary. Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM, will conduct graveside services at Delia Cemetery in Jackson County. Mr. Feaker will lie in state after 4 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
