    Obituary- Glace, Warren
    Obituary- Glace, Warren
    Warren R. Glace
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Bern for Warren R. Glace, 42, Oneida, who was killed in a tractor accident in Oneida shortly before dawn Friday.

En route to feed cattle, Glace was driving the tractor on an Oneida street when the tractor struck a parked car. The tractor flipped and rolled over Glace. His head was crushed.

Officials said the tractor was equipped with a windbreaker and apparently the driver didn't see the parked car in the dark. Glace lived on a farm on the east edge of Oneida in Nemaha County.

He was born Oct. 7, 1924 at Clay Center and spent most of his life at Clay Center before he moved to Oneida in 1959. He was a farmer and stockman and owned and operated the Sabetha Seed House.

He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Bern and served on the Bern Rural High School board.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Glace, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Warrene Stadler, Newton, and Ardis Glace at home; two sons, Bill Glace and Bob Glace, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Glace, Clay Center; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Strom, Clifton.

Later services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home at Clay Center. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Clay Center. Thornburg Funeral Home at Seneca is in charge of arrangements.
