| Obituary- Gleason, John JOHN M. GLEASON
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic church in Topeka for John M. (Jack) Gleason who died Saturday at his home in Topeka, after a brief illness. Burial was in St. Marys Cemetery.
He was born in Alta Vista and moved to Topeka four years ago from Rossville. He operated Jack’s Barber Shop in the College Hill area of Topeka. He had been a barber in Rossville for a number of years before moving to Topeka. He was a member of the Topeka Eagle’s lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucille Gleason, and a daughter, Geri Gleason, both at home; a son Tom Gleason of Pressue Isle, Me.: a brother, Merrle Gleason, and a sister, Mrs. O. A. Wahl, both of Alta Vista.
