| Obituary- Guerreri, Maude Mrs. Guerreri Died Monday
Mrs. Maude Shipley Guerreri, aged 33 years and 13 days died at 5 a.m. Monday morning October 2, after a very brief illness. She had been a sufferer for two years with diabetes.
Mrs. Guerreri, who came from Denver only a short time ago to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Shipley became ill last Saturday. Early Sunday morning she became unconscious and remained in this condition until she passed away. Mr. Guerreri, her husband, had been sent for but arrived from Denver about two hours after her death.
The deceased was the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Shipley. She was born September 19, 1880, on the Van Vleck farm three miles northwest of Rossville. She had spent most of her life in Rossville and received her education in the city schools. She was united in marriage to Pascal C. Guerreri, in October 1914 and since that time they have resided in Denver, Co.
The funeral service was held Wed. afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. H.P. Basquin and the body interred in the family plot in Rossville cemetery. Beside her husband she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Shipley; a sister, Mrs. William Lambert, of Silver Lake, brother William of the home address, a half sister, Mrs. Eugene Strimple and a half-brother, H.E. Van Vleck, of Topeka. The pallbearers were C.M. McPherson, F.E. Zickefoose, L.E. Dann, T.P. Melenson, Roy Hawks and Lowell Hook.

Mrs. Paschal C. Guerrieri, 33 years old, wife of a prominent Denver musician, died early yesterday morning (Oct. 2) at her old home in Rossville, Kan., following a sudden attack of diabetes. She had been ailing for almost a week.
Surviving her are her husband, Paschal C. Guerrieri, 3939 Walnut St., her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. R.A. Shipley, brother, William, of Rossville, Kan., sister, Mrs. Wm. Lambert, Silver Lake, Kan.
Mrs. Guerrieri had resided in Denver for fourteen years. She was well known, particularly in musical circles. Her husband is a harpist in a Denver orchestra.
