| Obituary- Fouts, Smith SMITH L. FOUTS
Smith Lincoln Fouts, 65, a farmer and stockman in the Silver Lake area since March 1945, died Sunday at his home on route 2 at Silver Lake.
He was born at Frankfort and was a trustee and honorary steward of Lane Chapel, CMM church.
Mr. Fouts leaves his wife, Mrs. Rebecca L. Fouts of the home; three sons, Lewis Fouts and Justin Fouts, both of the home and Glenn Fouts of Kansas City; seven daughters, Mrs. Theodosia Douglas and Miss Smithena Fouts, both of 1213 Buchanan, Topeka, Miss Patricia Fouts and Miss Rebecca Fouts, both of 1112 Clay, Topeka, and Miss Marian Fouts, Mrs. Constance Holiday and Mrs. Elizabeth Luxury all of Kansas City; a brother, Jay Fouts of LaJolla, Calif.; two sisters Miss Maude Fouts of LaJolla and Mrs. Anna Byron of Omaha; nine grandchildren, a niece and four nephews.
