    HELEN HALLORAN
    Services were at 9 a.m. Friday at Assumption Catholic Church for Helen Halloran, Topeka, who died Tuesday, December 25, 1979, at a Topeka nursing home where she had been ill about a month.

    She was born near Delia, the daughter of Patrick and Nora Halloran. She was graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, St. Marys, in 1920.

    Miss Halloran taught school in Pottawatomie, Jackson and Shawnee counties for 20 years, then worked at State Department of Administration 30 years, retiring in 1971.

    She was an active member of Assumption Catholic Church: Assumption Guild, Daughters of Isabel, Little Flower Circle No. 503 where she was a past regent, and Legion of Mary, all of the church; St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center Auxiliary; and a volunteer at the hospital.

    Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary DeBacker and Mrs. Catherine , Simecka, both of Topeka.

    Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Brennan Funeral Home, Topeka, was in charge of arrangements.
