| Obituary- Hanrahan, Francis 1 Delia resident dies suddenly on Saturday
Francis B. Hanrahan, 59, Delia, died suddenly Saturday while in a St. Marys physician’s office. He had emphysema and asthma several years and had been a patient in a Topeka hospital last May.
Born June 25, 1912, at Delia, he spent most of his life in that community. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia, the Royal Neighbors of America, and the Security Benefit Association.
Mr. Hanrahan was married to Clementine Allen Dec. 5, 1935, at St. Marys. She survives.
Other survivors include a son: Patrick Hanrahan, Topeka; three daughters: Mrs. Dolores Partridge, Dansville, N.Y.; Mrs. Marlene Collins, Almont, Mich.; Mrs. Regina Goss, Delia; his mother: Mrs. Mary Hanrahan, Delia; two sisters: Mrs. Zita Allen, Topeka; Mrs. Helen Dohrman, Newton; and ten grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Delia. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys, by the Verschelden Funeral Home.
The pallbearers: Robert A. Kerwin, Kenneth Mulanax, Jim Simecka, George DeBacker Jr., all of Delia; Elmer Allen, St. Marys; and Joe Burgett, Topeka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Wake service will be at 8 p.m. Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys.
