  Obituary- Gardner, William William Edgar Gardner William Edgar Gardner, 69, died Wednesday, January 14, 1981. The son of the late William H. and Mary Winfrey Gardner, he was born November 27, 1911, at Easton, Ks. He moved to Delia with his parents in August of 1913, where his father served as section boss for many years. William attended the Delia schools. He was a member of the Delia Presbyterian Church. He was married to Leona Doris Crum, Siebert, Colo., on December 4, 1933. They lived on the west coast since 1942. Mrs. Gardner, wife, died in 1975. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ellis and three grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Goodrow, Del Norte, Colo., and Gertrude Hoover, St. Joseph, Mo.; four brothers, Ivan Gardner, Kansas City, Mo., Wyatt Gardner, Midwest City, Okla., Eugene Gardner, Sedro Wooly, Wash., and Clyde Gardner, Everett, Wash.; several nieces and nephews. He was laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Part at Coos Bay, Oregon on January 19, 1981.
