| Obituary- Bailey, Woodrow Woodrow Bailey
SILVER LAKE - Woodrow Bailey, 60, Silver Lake, died Friday at his home. No autopsy was planned.
He was born Oct. 25, 1915, near Silver Lake, the son of Ollie and Ellen Day Bailey, and lived in the Silver Lake and Grove communities all his life.
Mr. Bailey was a farmer and operat¬ed the Grove Elevator for more than 12 years.
He was a member of East Side Bap¬tist Church, Topeka.
He was married to Ora Lou Bahner Nov. 19, 1971, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two step¬sons, Jerrol Bahner, 226 N.E. 58th, and Kerry Bahner, Silver Lake; His mother, Mrs. Ellen Bailey, 1515 W. 28th; four sisters, Mrs. Delpha Meyer, Neodesha. Mrs. Velta Chase, 301 N. Norwood, Mrs. Iva Thompson, 539 Norwood, and Mrs. Lula Chiddix, 546 S.E. Golden; three brothers, Glen Bailey Webber, Raymond Bailey, 8331 N.W US-24, and Ollie Bailey Jr., 3919 S.E US-40, and four stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, north of Silver Lake. Mr. Bailey will lie in state until service time at the mortu¬ary. Memorial contributions may be made to East Side Baptist Church, 614 California 66607.
