| Obituary- Harvey, Mamie MAMIE A. HARVEY
Mrs. Harvey was born in Rossville [print error suspected here] W. Harvey, chief justice of the Kansas Supreme Court, died early Sunday morning in a Topeka hospital. She had been in the hospital since she suffered a heart attack August 13th at her home 1505 Jewell.
Mrs. Harvey was in Rossville the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Conley. She was educated in the Rossville schools and the Emporia State Teachers College. She taught school here before her marriage to Justice Harvey, who also taught in the Rossville school.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the PEO Sisterhood, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Woman’s Club and other organizations.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Howard S. Harvey Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Helen H Righter, of the home; three grandsons, William B, Harvey, James H. Harvey and William H. Righter; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. L.U. Morris, Oakland, Calif.
Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery Tuesday afternoon.
