Mrs. Evelyn Hobart, 79, Delia, died Tuesday, September 11, 1979, at her home.
She was born August 22, 1900, at Delia, the daughter of Cyrus H. and Nellie McNeive Moore.
Mrs. Hobart taught school east of Delia one or two years before her marriage.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Altar Society of the church and was a former member of the Extension Homemakers Unit, all of Delia.
She was married to Louis J. Hobart on May 25, 1921, at Delia. He died August 23, 1969.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Macha, Delia, and Mrs. Joan Hofmann, Camp Springs, Md.; a son, Donald A. Hobart, Destin, Fla.; 17 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were at 16 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys.
