Miss Alice Ross and Mr. Ira
Hopkins surprised their Rossville friends last week by going to Lawrence where they wore married on Tuesday, September 21. After a short honeymoon trip they returned last Friday. Both have been members of the business fraternity of Rossville for several, years, first as employees at the Lewis Mer. Co’s store and later as proprietors of establishments of their own. Mrs. Hopkins who only recently closed her millinery establishment, will have a new stock of fall millinery in a few days on display in the Hopkins store.
