A quiet but beautiful wedding was solemnized at two o'clock last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Bradley when their daughter, Mae, became the bride of Charles D. Johnson of Topeka. Rev. A.J. Crawford officiated with a very pretty ceremony, in the presence of the parents and a few relatives.

The house was tastefully decorated in autumn leaves, ferns and chrysanthemums. The bride was met at the foot of the stairs by the groom and from here they marched through the parlor and under an archway of autumn leaves, to the strains of the wedding march, played by Mrs. W.V. Hook.

The bride wore a handsome blue tailored suit with accessories to match. Her corsage bouquet was of white pompon chrysanthemums.

Mrs. Johnson is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Bradley and is a girl of sterling character, talented, and one of the most popular of Rossville girls. Her leaving our midst will be regretted by all.

The groom has held a lucrative position with the Capper publication for several years.

Following the ceremony a delicious two course luncheon was served after which Rev. and Mrs. Crawford took the happy couple to their home in Topeka.
