| Obituary- Keller, Fred Delia farmer killed
in traffic mishap
Fred Keller, 81, a farmer in the Delia community near Holton, was killed in a two-car collision three miles east of Delia at 2 pm Thursday, according to Trooper Jerry Smith of Holton.
Smith said Keller’s car was rammed broadside at an intersection by a car driven by Darrell Warren Lundin of Silver Lake. The trooper said Lundin received only minor injuries and was not hospitalized.
Mr. Keller was born in Phillips County and had lived in the Delia community since he was a boy. He was a member of the Delia Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Keller of the home; four sons, Roy Keller of Berryton; Bert and Dale Keller, both of Topeka; and Charles Keller of Delia; two brothers, R. G. Keller of Topeka, and Robert Keller of Washington Slate; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Whitestone of Alameda, Calif.: Mrs. Ida Harris of Delia and Mrs. Verna Steckler of Topeka; 11 [missing rest]
