Bernadette Mary Kibler, 74, Topeka, died Tuesday, March 19, 1996, at her home.
Mrs. Kibler was a registered nurse and had served Santa Fe and St. Francis hospitals before she retired in 1982.
She was born Aug. 26, 1921, at Delia, the daughter of Thomas Joseph Grace and Bernadette Mary McMullen. She was graduated from Halstead Hospital School of Nursing in 1943.
Mrs. Kibler was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Church and the Woman’s Club of the church.
She married William W. “Bill” Kibler on Sept. 9, 1953, at Little Rock, Ark. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, William M. Kibler, Bartlesville, Okla.; two daughters, Joanne Henley, Prairie Village, and Pam Schultes, Bartlesville, Okla.; a brother, Gerald Grace, Topeka; two sisters, Genevieve Matyak, Delia, and Alice Payne, Hastings, Neb.; and seven grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial was at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Arthritis Foundation and sent in care of Dorothy Voigt, 2326 S.E. 37th, Topeka, 66605.
