| Obituary- Marney, Jennie Mrs. James Marney Buried Yesterday
Mrs. James S. Marney who passed away at 5 a.m. Monday after an illness dating back six months with brights disease, was taken to Belvue yesterday after¬noon for interment in the Belvue cemetery. A short service was held at the home yesterday at 1 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Bent¬ley of the Christian church.
Jennie L. Fish was born November 9, 1868 in La Grange, Indiana. On December 25, 1884, she was united in marriage to James S. Marney at St. Marys, Kansas to which union nine children were born, eight of whom with the husband survive to mourn her loss. She was a mem¬ber of the Christian church of Rossville, having united with the church February 7, 1908 and had remained a faithful member since. At the time of her death Tuesday July 1, 1919, she was 50 years, 7 months and 22 days old.
The surviving members are the husband and eight children Geo. F. Marney, Ida L. Patton, Rossville; Howard V. Wessington Springs, S. Dak.; Dudley L. ; Clyde L.; Harold T., Ruth and Glenn Marney all of Rossville. Mrs. Marney was a loving mother a kind neighbor and greatly re¬spected by her fellow lodge mem-bers of the K. L. of S. lodge of which she was the secretary of the local organization.
