| Marriage- Vorhies, Blanche-Martin, Frank Martin-Vorhies Nuptials.
Mr. Frank H. Martin and Miss Blanche Vorhies were quietly married last Saturday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vorhies, Rev. H.L. Nelson officiating. Those witnessing the ceremony were: Dr. and Mrs. F.H. Martin, Miss Vera Martin of Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vorhies, Miss Beulah Vorhies and Miss Gertrude Hook of Rossville. A plain band ring was used to seal the marriage vow. The bride was attired in a gray traveling suit, and the groom in the conventional plain black. After the ceremony refreshments consisting of ice cream, cake, coffee and fruits were served. The happy couple left amidst a shower of rice and good wishes, on the evening train for their future home in Topeka.

ROSSVILLE - Frank V. Martin, 69. Rossville, died Wednesday in a St. Marys nursŽing home.
He was born Sept. 16, 1905, in Los Angeles, and moved to KanŽsas when he was 18. He lived in Rossville and Topeka most of his life.
He was employed as a securiŽty guard at the Topeka VeteŽrans Administration Hospital until his retirement
He was an honorary member of the American Legion Capitol Post No. 1 in Topeka. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He also was a member of Potwin Presbyterian Church in Topeka.
He is survived by an aunt, Beulah V. McIntyre, Rossville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rossville Cemetery.
Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, is in charge of arrangements.
